BREAKFAST WITH SCOT
Michael Downing
Sam and Ed lead the high life. Sam is a successful chiropractor and Ed edits an Italian art magazine. Devoted to one another, they see no reason to add to their happy twosome. But then the mother of their 11-year-old nephew dies, and they find that she has made them the guardians of her son. Thus begins Sam and Ed's entry into parenthood.
But Scot is anything but usual. The "tween" wears makeup and lacey socks to school and is bullied by his peers. Suddenly Sam and Ed face parental issues that force them to confront the fissues in their own relationship and to examine the compromises they've made to live in a predominantly straight society.
